Mikroorchestra project
MIKRO ORCHESTRA PROJECT
The Mikro Orchestra Project is experimental and audiovisual, based on using the Game Boy command section as a musical instrument. The project designer’s main goal was to produce new space for sound based on tones from the Game Boy command section.
The group has been together since 2001 and currently has six performers.
This hi-tech sextet - who can’t even read the simplest scores - wanted to celebrate being together with the project that they call Mikro Orchestra Project. Top marks go to the Nintendo Game Boy, transformed for the occasion into a very original musical instrument.
Each game’s soundtrack merges in a mixer that then proceeds with the revised version of all the selected music and takes it to the speakers. The result of this mix of sounds is completely original.
What is amazing about Mikro Orchestra is that they really seem to be live performances.

LAN PARTY
Aperitif and meeting dedicated to video game multi-players to play over a LAN (Local Area Network) where players can share the passion of the multiplayer “challenge” and put his/her own skills to the test. But LAN_PARTY is not just this: first and foremost it’s a party, with everything that it involves: dance and fun. It’s a chance to support initiatives and promote ideas, where the meeting of sport and e-sport begins.
Organised by clan-hostin MxB, a community of players from Turin.

SUGURU GOTO PERFORMANCE
SUGURU GOTO - IPPEI HOSAKA
The performance consists of two parts. The first half is Laptop music
and interactive video, and the second half is music and interactive
vide with BodySuit.
"Continuum" and "CsO", these works are related to my on-going project
"Artificial body and Real body". The texts used in this work are
coming from Mille Plateaux of Deleuze and Guattari and the radio
piece of Antonin Artaud : Pour en finir avec le jugement de Dieu.
Especially, the texts that are utilized in this work, are about
“CsO” (Corps sans Organs = Body without Organs).
"o.m.2 - g.i. - p.p.", this composition is based on the density of
texture and the alternation between the dynamical and the statistical
aspect of the movement. The ideas of the composition are summarized
in the title of which the initials mean : o.m=Onomatopoeia and
montage, both of them can be heard clearly in this composition,
2=second version, g=granular, i=interpolation ; p.p=poly-phase.

NET LABEL PARTY
AZ-ROTATOR - CYLOB - LACKLUSTER - ILLOGIK RECORDS
This music event is central to many musical scenes that represent excellence in contemporary IDM despite frequenting underground circuits. With digital technologies all artists can easily and globally find and increase their own public. The artists presented here share backgrounds of creative trials and running their own shows. Each of them collaborates on or has founded their own netlabel in order to distribute their own music in complete and creative freedom.
Alongside three international artists, including the excellent underground-star Cylob, there will also a label from Turin - Illogik Records.
